The Drovers Inn is an intriguing pub and restaurant offering both traditional Scottish inn atmosphere and contemporary fine dining. Situated in Angus midway between Forfar and Kirriemuir, the Inn nestles on the bank of the White Burn in the little village of Memus. Enjoy a hearty meal and a well earned ale by the fire in our traditional Scottish pub after a days walking in the Angus Glens or savour a superb meal in our elegant contemporary restaurant.
The recently enlarged dining area seats sixty in an ambience of sophisticated elegance and can be divided into three smaller areas for more intimate gatherings. Our menu features old favourite pub meals as well as more modern dishes. Using herbs from our own garden and quality locally sourced seasonal produce, our chefs cuisine never fails to impress. The excellent food is complemented by an extensive wine list as well as a large selection of whiskies and cognacs to complete the experience.
In summer our guests enjoy the outdoor dining area under the trees while their children romp in the large open air play area.
Britain has over 57 000 pubs but fewer than 600 are listed in the 2010 Michelin Eating out in Pubs, less than 30 of those being located in Scotland. The Drovers Inn has joined this exclusive group with their listing in the 2010 Michelin Pubs Guide. Our staff are very proud that their efforts have been rewarded with this prestigious listing and invite you to come and enjoy our hospitality.

' I write to congratulate you, and your staff, on creating a Gem - so often pubs in Scotland offer a surly reception and indifferent food. The Drovers is an example of 'how it should be' - please be assured that my partner and myself will 'haste back' as 'soon as.
